What agreements do we have to sign to invest in asset leasing deals on Tap Invest?

Modified on Tue, 17 Oct, 2023 at 6:02 PM

Investors enter into the two following contracts:

  1. Licensing contract - This is a tri-party agreement involving the Investor (also known as the Lessor), the Company (in this case the Lessee), and Tap Invest (acting as the service provider of the transaction here).
  2. Agreement to sell - This is an agreement between Tap Invest and the Investor wherein the assets owned by the Investor are bought by Tap Invest at the prescribed buyback value at the end of the tenure. This document is only used for the asset leasing model and not for the invoicing discount model.

These agreements are executed via the clickwrap route and do not require a physical/ digital signature.
